- Don’t be too ambitious or money-minded.
- Money is the root of all evil.
No wonder we grew up:
- Playing small and calling it practical
- Choosing the safe way
- Chasing stability instead of freedom
If this is you, you’re not alone. It’s the default for most people who weren’t born into ultra-rich families.
Inheriting a mindset that keeps you stuck in survival mode.
Playing games that are designed for you to lose (without you realising it).
But you don't have to.
Before the year ends, let’s change that.
Here are 3 money beliefs I recommend you to to leave behind in 2025:
1/ Money is Evil
The classic.
You can’t say “money is bad” and secretly want it too.
That will keep you broke and bitter.
Money is neutral. It simply amplifies who you already are.
- If you’re kind, you’ll do good things with it.
- If you’re not, it’ll show that too.
Start here: Stop rejecting the very thing you’re trying to attract.
There’s nothing wrong with wanting wealth, comfort, and freedom. If someone taught you otherwise, unlearn it.

2/ Only Hard Work Brings Money
Another classic. I think we all know by now that the hardest workers aren't the highest paid.
The blunt truth is:
- You don’t get paid for how much you hustle.
- You get paid for the value you create.
Of course, working hard matters… but only up to a point.
Making money is about the problems you solve, not the hours you work or how much of your life you sacrifice for it.
3/ The Path To Success is “Secure”
The biggest lie our generation was sold.
That there is something as a set-in-stone, secure path to success. There isn’t.
In fact, there is no #1 path to success.
We all have the power to pave our own way to it. But that is too much power in the hands of regular people, right?
So society sold us this lie of a secure way.
- Go to school
- Get good grades
- Land a job
- Work hard at it for decades
- Get paid what your employer deems you're worth
- Have a fake sense of security
- Keep on until old age
This is the template that so many people spend their lives living.
The truth?
Security without fulfilment is a trap, not safety.
There’s no safe or fixed route to your best life. The only real risk is chasing someone else’s definition of success.
But you have the power to flip it, so…
Walk into 2026 with this Money Mindset instead:
Your money is a direct reflection of your self-belief. You control your actions. And your actions create your reality.
Do this:
- Have an abundance mindset. There is enough to go around for everyone.
- Believe that you deserve as much money as it takes to live your dream life.
- You are worth every dollar. If that number exists in your head, it’s possible for you. It’s not arrogance, it’s awareness.
- The market doesn’t decide your value, you do. Chalk it down and then create that value. The money will follow.
- Don’t compare with others. Look at them for inspiration, and look for how you can invite that wealth into your own life.
Once you open your mind to it, you’ll start seeing opportunities everywhere.
2026 can be the year you take full control of your wealth.
It all starts in your mind.
