1/ Mindset is Everything
The difference between a $25/article freelancer and a $350/article one is about mindset. They have the courage to charge more, because they know their skill is top-notch.
❇️ Pro Tip:
- Read about scarcity vs abundance mindset
- Then watch YouTube videos around it
- Practice building an abundance mindset
- Get better at your skill
Because unless you're damn good, regardless fo your mindset, your client doesn't want to pay you.
2/ Relationships > Networking
I don't ever, every network. Zero calls to 'hang out'. But I have creator friends from across the world. This happens when you genuinely engage with people close to your niche or interest.
The reason I transitioned from freelancing to solopreneurship is that I bounced off ideas from these friends. And I still do!
❇️ Pro Tip:
Ditch Chat GPT for commenting. We can see you, and we don't appreciate the lack of effort.
3/ You're not too late
The creator economy is dynamic and growing in ways I'd have never imagined.
A year ago, I was selling a course called Summit 21 for $500. Last few months, I sold Authentic Influence for $2500 pp. I now make less passive income because people prefer this instead of my $147 LinkedIn course!
Who would've imagined?!
❇️ Pro Tip:
The only way to see what works is to start. Start writing online, and your niche, business idea, and all that you're worried about - will follow. But it won't if you don't start and instead spend time planning.
